55 years ago today this boy was in love
with this girl.
He popped the magical question two weeks earlier and she took the chance on a young man that made her laugh. They hadn't really dated but they knew each other fairly well. Many people tried to talk them out of marrying each other but they refused to listen to anyone....she was 20 and he was 23.
It was a chance but looking back you can clearly see God's fingerprints all over their life together. It hasn't always been easy but they seem to make it work.
Congratulations Mom & Dad on 55 years together.
