Mr. Politician???

My Mom (John's MaMa) has recently taught John to shake hands. It is so funny! You ask him to shake and he usually sticks his hand out to shake!

Happy Birthday!!!

Two of my most favorite people are having a birthday today!
My "ever so fun" sister Linda and my "partner in crime" DeeDee!
Happy birthday ladies!

Am I really going to miss this???

Trace Adkins has a song..."Your Going to Miss This"...if your volume is up you can hear the song. I love this song...and it usually makes me cry...then I had a particularly hard day.

The day started with John biting me...I guess he wanted to see what I tasted like...please see the evidence in the picture below...then John had the diaper that was muddy - very muddy - am sure you do not need a visual aid for that one!!!

Then came the kitchen disaster. I was trying to clean out my refrigerator when the boys (Randy & John) decided they needed to take part and "camp out' in my space. After a few explosions, John throwing up, Lucky Charms on the floor, and stuff spilling everywhere - I wondered "Trace - am I really going to miss this"?

Then...at the end of the day...after all the messes were cleaned up...and I was playing on the floor with my healthy and happy little man...I thought to myself..."yea...am going miss it!"

I'm Back....Again

I can't believe it has been over a month since I posted a blog!!!
So sorry readers...where does the time go?
Within the past month I help host a wonderful retirement party for my sister-in-law, celebrated our country's independence, spent an afternoon in the ER, visited with a nephew, and chased a very active ten month old boy around the house!!
Here are some random shots of the last month..

This is my sister-in-law Linda (in blue/green - in front) she has been a teacher over 29 years. She has actually taught over 1200 students. I personally know first hand that AISD has lost one of the best if not the best educator to retirement. It is definitely time for her to relax and enjoy her harvest!

Here's Mr. Mean Jeans giving his best "I mean...now give me another puffy star!"

Here are some pictures from July 4th!

This is my nephew Ty with John on a fun little day trip!
